FRESH MAINE SCALLOPS ARE IN!!!!
I was so excited when I saw this post on my Facebook page-then I realized that I can’t take advantage of this offer, but maybe some of you can.  This was a couple of days ago but I think this must be an indication that the season is open.

I think fresh Maine scallops is one of my favorite meals.  I just melt a little butter in a pan and after rinsing the scallops and patting them dry I pan fry just til brown, not cooked all the way through-almost.  Pair these with some fresh steamed asparagus and you have a healthy, delicious meal.  I’m sure some of you also have some favorite recipes for scallops too!
